四川人，博士，副研究员，硕士研究生导师。2007年获中国科学院植物研究所博士学位，2007- 2009 在中国科学院地理科学与资源研究所进行博士后研究，出站后工作至今，期间2016–2017为耶鲁大学访问学者。在国内外学术期刊发表论文30余篇。担任多个国际学术刊物审稿专家。曾获第八届梁希林业科学技术奖二等奖、青海省科学技术进步二等奖、四川省科学技术奖一等奖。研究成果曾受国际著名媒体（包括：哥伦比亚广播公司CBS NEWS、耶鲁每日新闻、中国日报等）专题报道。承担或参与国家重点基础研究发展计划（973计划）、国家重点研发计划、国家自然科学基金项目、中国科学院战略性先导科技专项，以及其它部委、地方和国际项目等多项。

研究领域：全球变化下生物多样性和生态系统服务的时空模式及其协同效益；生物多样性维持与丧失机制及其适应性保护策略。
研究方向：气候变化对生物多样性的影响与适应；生态系统服务及自然资本动态评估；生物多样性系统保护规划；国家公园等保护地有效性管理等。
