Areas of Specialization

Resource Economics

Focused on economics and policy analysis of energy and mineral resources, particularly involving in energy and mineral security.

Resource-based Urban Studies

Interested in researches on transformation and sustainable development of resource-rich region, resources-based cities, and regional development planning in China.

World Resource Geography

Tempo-Spatial Patterns of resource and environment in Asia, Africa and neighboring countries of China, technology development and international cooperation focused on resource field.

Natural Resource Management

Resources management particularly involving: the linkages between developments of natural resources, ecology and environment. Explore theory, methods and policy measures of resources management.

His approach has been interdisciplinary and applied, drawing on geology, geography, law, economics, engineering, finance, and political sciences as required. This in turn has depended on collaboration with a wide range of specialists home and abroad.

Academic Awards:
The second level of award for Science and Technology Advance by the People Government of Tibet Autonomous Region of China in 2010.
The second level of award for Science and Technology Advance by the People Government of Guangxi Zhuang Minority Autonomous Region of China in 1992.
Three times of awards of Distinction Papers for Young Scientist in 1996-1998.
